  Today a 23 year old with disabilities and her boyfriend had car troubles there. It appeared that they had a leak in their radiator hose where the hose clamp was. They went inside and politely asked to borrow a utility knife and a screwdriver to make the repair. Simply cutting off a half inch of hose and reclamping it would have solved their issue. They were told that they could not borrow the tools and sent away. That's a pretty pathetic move on Maplefield's part if you asked me. Especially since they just bought some oil and antifreeze there at a premium price. So they headed out and overheated down the road again. Three times! How do I know this? Because I was the one they called for help. 4 hours away! I will never spend a nickel at any Maplefields again. I'll also be sure to tell all of my friends in the north country about this.

  Gas is usually pretty decent here considering it's near an interstate exit. The fact that it's a Maplefields also means that food and facilities are good. Friendly staff, and a light means you can actually get out of here without waiting for five minutes.
